“Long Boa: The Beloved Campus Duck Who Stole Hearts and Went Missing”

A British university said that the long duck bird that lived on its campus and was widely known on social media platforms because of its tall stature, may have died, following it disappeared for two months from sight.

The male duck, dubbed “Long Boa”, arrived on the campus of York University in Britain in 2019, and has been widely admired since then.

The bird has achieved great fame since its image was published on social media platforms, and it was said at first that it was a meter long, then it turned out to be regarding 70 centimeters.

On its official website, the British University of York describes the bird as a “star” because it became famous and was the focus of attention for students, professors and all employees.

The university said it had to conclude that the long-tailed bird was dead, because it had been in hiding for two months.

The university added that this unfortunate news disappoints those who were expecting happier news regarding the bird, but it expressed the hope that this assertion would allow them to focus on memories and celebrate the effects of the bird.
