The Zurich private bank, which manages regarding 150 billion francs, recruited 50 wealth managers during the first quarter, including 30 to 40% from Credit Suisse. “And others will come,” predicts the Geneva-born, who led HSBC Private Bank in Switzerland between 2018 and 2022. His arrival at EFG coincides with the launch of a new three-year strategic plan, which aims in particular 4 to 6% annual growth in assets and an improvement in the cost/income ratio to 69%, compared to 75% currently.
