“Government Plans to Implement Remote Work System for State Workers: Details Revealed”

Dr. Hani Mahmoud, Advisor to the Prime Minister for Administrative Reform, and former Minister of Administrative Development, revealed the details of the government’s study to implement the “remote work” system for some workers in the state.

Hani Mahmoud said, in a phone call to the program “From Egypt” presented by the journalist Amr Khalil, on the CBC screen, that 80% of work does not require being in offices, as there are major changes in work systems worldwide.

The former minister stated that the application of the remote work system for some state workers is an important experience, adding that jobs that provide services to the masses cannot provide work from home, and as for auxiliary jobs, 80% of them can work from home.

Dr. Hani Mahmoud, the former Minister of Administrative Development, explained that there are 2 million employees in the administrative apparatus who can “work remotely.”
