An air alert was announced in the Dnipropetrovsk, Kirovograd, Nikolaev, Odessa, Poltava, Sumy, Cherkasy, Chernihiv and Kharkiv regions, as well as in the areas of Zaporozhye, Lugansk and Donetsk regions controlled by it. This follows from online maps air alerts.
On the night of May 9, an air raid alert sounded in all Ukrainian regions at night. Explosions were reported in Kyiv and the Kyiv region. Local authorities attributed the sounds of explosions to the work of air defense equipment.
