“I solemnly call on all deputies on June 8 to take their responsibilities and vote for this bill,” insisted the union official. “The difference between the deputies, whatever their political colors, and the President of the Republic, is that the deputies, they are not locked up in their palace, they are in contact with the population at a minimum. »

But if the text passed to the Assembly, how to cross the stage of the Senate, where the right supports the reform promulgated in mid-April? “We do things in stages. At his side, the president of the Liot group Bertrand Pancher underlined the “very serious social and political crisis. We want to come out on top” with this bill, he argued.

His composite group, bringing together centrists, socialist dissidents, Corsican and overseas elected officials, received the day before Laurent Berger, the secretary general of the CFDT.

In addition to the repeal of the postponement of the legal age to 64, the text proposes the meeting of a social conference to review the question of the financing of the pension system.
