It was supposed to be an adventure, but it ended with serious injuries: Four children climbed onto the roof of a shopping center in the Swabian town of Donauwörth and broke through a glass panel. They fell regarding four meters to the concrete floor of a vacant commercial space on the top floor of the building, police said on Wednesday. Two of the four boys between the ages of ten and 13 suffered serious injuries in the accident on Tuesday followingnoon.
According to the information, the young quartet had reached the flat roof via a secured fire escape. There they climbed onto a two-meter by two-meter skylight that gave way under their weight. All four were taken to hospitals. According to the Donauwörth Police Inspectorate, none of the children are in danger.
