Smoking is harmful to health. Su Yifeng, a chest physician, posted on Facebook today (10th) that he met a young woman who came to see her doctor and said she was coughing continuously. After the results of computer tomography came out, “It’s terrible, the lungs exploded!”

Su Yifeng said that the young woman had been coughing following using pop-pear cigarettes, so she went to the hospital for treatment. He helped the woman take a computer tomography scan, “It’s terrible….It was found that the lungs exploded! Su Yifeng also mentioned on Facebook that actor Zhang Liang also had a lung collapse last year. Zhang Liang was suddenly out of breath. After he was rushed to the hospital, the doctor determined that his lungs had collapsed and he had to be intubated and hospitalized immediately. Zhang Liang still needs to recuperate for 3 to 4 months following being discharged from the hospital. Sequelae include shortness of breath when speaking and inability to do aerobic exercise for a period of time.

Su Yifeng once said that lung collapse will not only cause repeated lung infections and lead to serious illness, but may also damage lung function for a long time, resulting in a decrease in lung capacity. There is currently no good treatment for lung collapse. Therefore, the public is urged to be careful to stay away from the harm of electronic cigarettes and avoid lung damage for a lifetime.
