Six hundred and thirty kilometers separate them. One is located in Corseaux, on the shores of a lake, the other in Hyères, not far from the sea. Apart from the proximity of the water, everything seems to oppose these two houses: Lake Geneva seems quite puny with its 64m2 and its unique level, while the Mediterranean flexes its muscles over almost 2200 m2 and three floors. The Helvetian was built for an elderly, petty-bourgeois couple; the French saw the blossoming of young aristocrats, freshly married. A “non-match” obviously.
