And once more there is good music from Austria that you can vote for in our FM4 charts. Join us this time Yasmo & The Sound Canteen with the new single “90er Kind“. In the song, Yasmo tells us what she loved as a child of the 90s and what she has “saved” from it into the present. The glam pop artist W1ZE will also be there. A harmonious song with brass sections and a fine groove.
Also among the new products of the week is the Low Life Rich Kids project. Behind it is the musician, songwriter, theater actor and composer Bernhard Eder. For the piece “Overnight’, to be seen in the vestibule of the Burgtheater he performed the song ‘Angst” Developed.

My Ugly Clementine – „Are You In“

Good Wilson – „Plenty“
The first lurching guitar tones, the slightly crooked chords and the rough sound of “Plenty” make it clear that the Viennese band Good Wilson has returned to aesthetic indie singer/songwriterdom.
But the soft, smooth sound should not distract from the deeper topic. Finally, the song revolves around the question of what true wealth is and how to appreciate the little things in life. Because everything is transient, even if we often don’t want to admit it. The song will “survive” for at least many years. A beautiful piece that you can listen to often and always hear and discover one of these beautiful little things.
Endless Wellness – “hand on face”
A good feeling, that’s what many people want. Infinite happiness, promised in wellness temples around the world. The rough, “real” life is not necessarily served there. That where you feel like a “nackerel”, defenseless and with thin skin to be able to sit without limits. The new band’s song “Hand in the Face” is regarding these highly sensitive people Endless Wellness.
A driving song performed with a lot of joy and grand gestures. Rough and ruthless like life itself. Shaped by beautiful melodies as well as hectic, by charming moments of relaxation and thoughtful lines. Behind the project are the musicians Philipp, Adele, Milena & Hjörtur, whom we already know from Oehl. The first single definitely makes you want more musical wellness from this band.
At Pavillon – „Ukulele Land“
It only has four strings, but it tunes incredibly well. It often reminds of holidays, vacations at the beach or Marilyn Monroe. And you can take it with you everywhere: the ukulele. The happy melodies at the beginning of “Ukulele Land”, the new single from That Pavilion however, do not hide the fact that following the euphoric feeling of the “new” a certain disillusionment creeps in over time.
“Ukulele Land” is an ode to pulling yourself together, consensus and common ground following experiences of separation. A coherent, intricate and great song that makes you want to listen to the new album that At Pavillon will release on May 19th, 2023.
Dream Beautiful – “Without Reason”
There are many reasons for not being in the state of love. You always find something outside that doesn’t fit. But turning to your inner self might be the source of the unconditional love we all long for. Loving for no reason, raps and sings regarding it Sweet Dreams in his new single. This catchy tune oscillates between a bit of auto-tune, cloud rap and indie pop, between gentle beats and acoustic guitars. Widespread with an individual touch.
