The Galaxy Z Fold 3 began to be Updated with the May security patch in the United States and in several Latin American countries, such as Mexico, Colombia, Panama and Peru.
According to information contained in the changelog, the update brings firmware version F926BXXS3EWD9 to fix approximately 70 security holes found in Android 13.
Other tweaks are also being released for Samsung’s proprietary interface.
As usual, the update is being distributed slowly and gradually to all users, and, on another front, Samsung has already started distributing the May package to several high-end and mid-range smartphones.
If you want to check the availability of the software on your smartphone, the way is simple:
Settings > Software Update > Download & Install.

Samsung releases April patch update for Galaxy Z Fold 3 and Z Flip 3
The foldable Galaxy Z Fold 3 and Z Flip 3 are being Updated with the April security patch in much of Europe. According to changelog information, firmware versions F926BXXU3EWD1 and F711BXXU4EWCC, respectively, are being released.
In both cases, smartphones receive the fix for regarding 66 security holes found in Android 13, in addition to some fixes for flaws that are present in Samsung’s proprietary interface.
Despite this, the changelog does not mention by name the problems that were fixed.

For now, the update is rolling out slowly and gradually. Thus, we emphasize that it may take a little longer to be available to your smartphone here in Brazil.

It should be remembered that other high-end and even mid-range smartphones are also receiving the latest security package.
