Vienna’s pink city councilor Christoph Wiederkehr hires his own party founder as a consultant at taxpayer expense
Vienna (OTS) – “Completely unashamedly, the NEOS establish the pink party book economy in Vienna. While representatives of NEOS like to present their imaginary moral superiority over their political competitors like a monstrance, the same rules of the game that NEOS demand for others do not seem to apply to them. The fact that the pink Viennese City Councilor for Education, Christoph Wiederkehr, brought NEOS founder Matthias Strolz on board as an expert at taxpayer expense can hardly be surpassed in terms of audacity,” says the General Secretary of the People’s Party, Christian Stocker, summing up the double standard of NEOS.
“Anyone who demands high moral standards must, as a first step, live them themselves. The NEOS have lost all credibility. In any case, you can’t operate friendliness more openly,” says Stocker, who finally emphasizes: “In this case, the usual outcry from Stephanie Krisper will probably not happen.”
