Recently, motorcyclists are rampaging in Gwangju.

Dozens of people ran in groups, crashed into vehicles, and even rushed into the mall.

They are running through the city regardless of the police’s dispatch, and the safety of citizens is seriously threatened.

It was past midnight, and the intersection was filled with motorcycles following 6 round trips to and from the city center.

A blue light came on at the crosswalk, but motorcycles and vehicles occupied the road threateningly, and citizens crossed the road only following they passed.

After running a little more, dozens of motorcycles take up the entire road and start going round and round.

A police car is dispatched, but continues to draw circles in front of and behind the car as if mocking.

A runaway motorcycle crashed into a car, and an accident occurred in which a miserable car broke a safety fence and rushed into a shopping mall.

″The driver had already been taken to the hospital. Most of the children come and see if there is a meeting place…”

It literally became a lawless zone.

The bikers who had been roaming the area all morning were dispersed by the police in regarding 4 hours.

Their runaway didn’t happen in a day or two.

″When I go out there at dawn every day, I see a lot of motorcycles passing by like this, I see a lot of traffic violations, and I drive very loud…」

Bikers set up a meeting place through social media and openly upload videos of runaways and accidents online.

The police said that dozens of bikers, including minors, appeared at once and that it was difficult to respond, and that they plan to strengthen the crackdown.

″When you are injured while under arrest, it is excessive suppression or excessive response in terms of national sentiment in our country…″

However, residents whose safety is threatened are crossing the road anxiously today.
