The airline company Saudi (formerly Saudi Arabian Airlines) unveiled a suite of business class baptized VantageSOLOwhich will equip the Airbus A321XLR expected from 2024.
During the Arabian Travel Market (ATM) in Dubai, the flag carrier of Saudi Arabia unveiled its latest state-of-the-art business headquarters on May 1, 2023, the suite VantageSOLO which will be installed in its fifteen Airbus A321XLRs. The sequel “will offer a lot more privacy than previous Business Class seats, with a rear privacy shield and an additional aisle door,” Saudia said in its statement. The spacious seats “can be fully reclined into bed mode, while the suite also features an 18-inch screen for better viewing, and increased storage space.”

In addition to the launch of the VantageSOLO suite, Saudia announced a new Economy class seat, the z400 : it will feature a 13-inch screen and “a generous seat recline”.
The alliance company SkyTeam intend to deploy the single-aisle aircraft in the summer of 2024 to destinations across Europe, the Indian subcontinent and Africa, “including Milan and Rome, Barcelona, Brussels, Rome, the Maldives and Dakar”.
During the 2019 Paris Air Show, the Saudi company had increased its order for re-engined single-aisle aircraft from 35 to “up to 100 aircraft”, including 35 as an option: it was then waiting 65 A320neo Family aircraft, including fifteen A321XLRs. The additional planes “will be deployed to support the flag carrier’s plan to increase capacity,” with passenger demand in Saudi Arabia seeing strong growth on domestic, regional and international routes.
Its single-aisle fleet currently numbers 40 A320 and fifteen A321s, plus a first A321neo delivered discreetly last month.
