World of Warcraft is sometimes the scene of unusual little bugs, and has recently once more been the victim of a little quip. Earlier this year, a new player-favorite feature made its debut: the counter. Respectively in Stormwind and Orgrimmar for the Alliance and the Horde, it allows you to exchange a new currency obtained by doing various and varied activities through the game once morest new or old transmog items from a monthly selection. Completing dungeons, raids, doing PvP, collecting plants or many others is just a very good way to give the player a reason to play the game.
But recently, it might be that the counter has given access to certain objects without it being planned…
Medivh quickly went back to hiding
On May 1 and for a short time, all of these 3 items reminiscent of the famous Guardian of Kazazhan, Medivh, now available in the Blizzard Shop were in the counter before quickly vanishing. This “Guardian Pack” contains:
- A stick (in no way resembling Atiesh)
- A hood
- A Cape
And they are meant to kind of give you the look of Medivh. Available until May 31 before “disappearing for an indefinite period”, they are at the price of 8€ if you want them on the in-game store. But if you have a little patience, you might see them reappear at the counter here very soon…
The new pack at the Comptoir from the end of the year
Indeed, Blizzard was smart and fair enough to say in the in-game store that although they are currently available for €8, the Guardian Pack items will be available at the counter, and therefore obtainable for in-game currency, between September 1 and December 31, 2023. So you can have peace of mind if you want this set and don’t want to shell out a penny, since it’s coming to the game soon, and the item costs will be as follows:
- Hood: 225 denier
- Cape : 100 deniers
- Staff: 650 denier
The set will therefore cost less than 1000 denarii, this same amount obtainable each month in World of Warcraft and cumulative over the months.
