The Ministry of Agriculture and Land Reclamation is organizing an exhibition of food commodities as part of an initiative “The best of our farms For our people” next Saturday, on the sidelines of the Spring Flowers Exhibition at the Agricultural Museum in Dokki, within the framework of the initiative of President Abdel Fattah El-Sisi, President of the Republic, to provide basic food commodities to citizens at reduced prices..
Saeed Saleh, advisor to the Minister of Agriculture for follow-up and responsible for the outlets file in the ministry, said that the initiative of the Ministry of Agriculture, “Our farms are good for our people,” is concerned with providing commodities and food products from the ministry’s farms to citizens at competitive prices, noting that this is the second exhibition during the year 2023 following the Orman Garden exhibition, and it will be followed by other exhibitions in some governorates..
And “Saleh” added that the exhibition of the best of our farms for our people will be held on an area of 600 square meters and will start with the beginning of the exhibition of flowers for a period of one month in the agricultural museum and contain all the basic food commodities that the Egyptian family needs.
Saleh added that the ministry aims to increase the number of its outlets to 300 outlets by the middle of this year to ensure the provision of all foodstuffs through the outlets with the highest quality and competitive prices to help citizens and cooperate with government agencies in supplying its outlets with food products and commodities.
It is worth noting that the outlets of the Ministry of Agriculture are located in front of the Ministry’s office in Dokki and government departments in Cairo and Giza, as well as in some public squares for sale to citizens, as well as mobile outlets for sale at the same prices in the governorates of: Kafr El-Sheikh, Assiut, Alexandria, Beheira, Dakahlia, and Menoufia.
