As you can see, there have been large and small damages in various places, but there are some people who are very happy with this rain.

Dongbok Dam is the main source of drinking water in Gwangju and Jeonnam.
Dongbok Dam, which had once drained and exposed its bottom, was filled with water once more.
As 140mm of rain fell in Hwasun, South Jeolla Province, the Dongbok Dam water storage rate rose 7.5 percentage points in one day from 21.2% to 28.7%.
Considering the water storage rate, which decreased by 0.1% per day, 75 days’ worth of tap water was filled in one day, and it is expected that water will continue to flow into the dam for regarding a week.
With the rain this time, the water storage rate of Dongbok Dam is expected to exceed 30%, so we escaped this year’s limited water supply crisis.
Rice paddies and fields, which had been dry in the meantime, began to turn green and lively with the first rain in a long time, and farmers began to get busy.

″(Crops) didn’t grow before it rained. crops do not grow If it doesn’t rain, it won’t grow even if you water it. Crops grow only when it rains.”
Especially ahead of the rice planting season, which requires a lot of water, this rain was a welcome welcome to the farmers.

″Our farmers are very happy with this rain. Even if I don’t have to worry regarding the drought this summer, I don’t have any trouble planting rice now.
The worries of the residents of Gwangju and Jeonnam, which had been burned to black, were washed away by this rain.
