It was a fight of incredible violence that took place in the night from Friday to Saturday, in the festive district of Carré in the center of Liège. For an unknown reason indeed, five people found themselves in the middle of a violent fight. Warned, the police quickly intervened and deprived two of the protagonists of their freedom, two young men aged 19 and 20.
The latter are accused of having beaten at least one of the other young people present. The main victim was taken to hospital where his life is considered to be in danger.
According to the first details provided by witnesses of the scene, the attackers showed terrible relentlessness, not hesitating to hit the victim already on the ground, in the face in particular.
Searched, the attackers had on them a kitchen knife and a small amount of cannabis.
They were referred to the Liège public prosecutor’s office and their file was placed under investigation with a request for an arrest warrant.
