The trip to Cao Bang in 3 days and 2 nights brought this guy a lot of excitement, with new experiences, especially camping at Mat Than mountain to see the majestic beauty of nature. Thuan also went to Pac Bo, seeing with his own eyes the clear blue stream here. Not only the landscape of Cao Bang is very beautiful and majestic, Cao Bang cuisine makes him very surprised with interesting dishes such as banh bao, banh cuon, duck noodle soup… The dishes here are different from other places Thuan used to. eat. The people here are very friendly, enthusiastic and fun.

This trip has brought the Hanoi boy a lot of memories, the most impressive is understanding more regarding the culture of the local people and immersing himself in the natural landscape of Cao Bang.
“The place that impressed me on this trip is probably the Eye of God mountain. For the first time, I experienced camping in a place surrounded by mountains and without the Internet, only people and nature, it was really chill”, Thuan felt.
Due to personal reasons, Thuan chose to travel by limosine instead of sleeper bus. Arriving in Cao Bang near 12 o’clock, Thuan went to eat pan bread and returned to the homestay to rest and prepare to go to the camping spot.
The place Thuan group chose to camp is Mat Than mountain (also known as Tung mountain), regarding 30-40km from the city center.

It takes regarding 30 minutes to go here, on the way to Mat Than mountain, visitors go through Ma Phuc pass. Upon arrival, the camping party has “setup” done, visitors just need to receive the tent, store their things, and then go to take pictures. In the late followingnoon, Thuan’s group started blowing fire to grill meat. In the evening, everyone gathers together to have dinner, light a fire and watch the stars.
At 5 am, you wake up to welcome the dawn, have breakfast and prepare to return to the city. The air is fresh so people stay a little longer to wait for the sun to rise, take some more pictures. “I will definitely come back here because the feeling is really indescribable. The first time camping experience was really great”, Thuan expressed.
The next day, everyone set off to Pac Bo. About 50 kilometers from the city, it takes people regarding 45 minutes to move here. On the way there will be Kim Dong relic.
Upon arrival, Thuan bought a tram ticket and was transported inside. On the way to Lenin stream – Pac Bo cave, people can pass Uncle Ho memorial area and check-in Km0 of Ho Chi Minh road, starting point Cao Bang. Going along the Lenin stream will come to Coc Bo cave. In the evening, everyone rests, eats duck noodle soup, then walks around the Kim Dong walking street.
The last day of the trip, Thuan had breakfast with Cao Bang rolls, then go back to prepare things to wait for the bus to pick up. While waiting for the car, he stopped at HAND coffee, regarding 100m from the homestay. “I quite like the space here, the shop is spacious and clean, the menu is quite diverse from coffee to tea. See you in Cao Bang one day not far because there are so many places I want to go, so many things I want to eat…”, Thuan said.
