Fluke Experience Awards Announce “Best in Industry” Winners
The Fluke Experience Awards, a competition created by Fluke do Brasil, world leader in test and measurement tools, has just awarded the three best experiences of professionals and companies that innovated in their processes using branded equipment.
The initiative, launched in November 2022, aims to encourage and recognize successful efforts in the categories: “Innovation in Application”, “Innovation in Project” and “Innovation in Sustainability”. According to the General Manager Latin America of Fluke do Brasil, Luiz Ribeiro, the project is very special for the company. “This was a way to recognize Fluke’s longstanding partnership with leading companies, as well as technicians, engineers, electricians, diagnostics and construction professionals who install, repair and manage industrial electrical and electronic equipment, always believing in the potential of our equipment. to carry out day-to-day activities safely and efficiently”, he emphasizes.

In the Application Innovation category, which sought to recognize improvement in terms of productivity or safety in the execution of a given task, through the application of Fluke equipment, it won the legal candidacy made by the Technological Metrology Center – CTM of São Paulo capital, which with the use of the Fluke ScopeMeter® 123 instrument and software made it possible to cut the usual atmospheric impulse calibration service time in half.
In the Innovation in Project category, which was intended to recognize a project developed in order to improve production or industrial processes, generating a positive and measurable impact, the Institute of Electrometal-Mechanical Technology of SENAI in Maracanaú, Ceará, took the prize for its legal candidacy, whose project resulted in the optimization of energy efficiency in the 7 units of SESI Ceará, with the support of different equipment, such as pliers, energy quality analyzers, thermographic camera, process calibrator and Fluke software.
Initiatives were awarded in the categories “Innovation in Application”, “Innovation in Project” and “Innovation in Sustainability”
Still according to Ribeiro, more than consecrating the best innovations identified by the organizing committee, the awards presented the winners with important equipment for the performance of their work, in addition to offering courses that contribute to the improvement of the training and qualification of professionals.
In this sense, the winning companies in the first two categories took home:
• Best in the Industry trophy and award certificate
• Pack-30 – Professional backpack with Fluke tools
• In-company Fluke Academy certification course: “Techniques for mitigating electrical power quality problems” or “Grounding Techniques” chosen by the Company for up to 10 employees
• Visit for personalized diagnosis of the maturity of industrial processes and vulnerability mapping to be carried out by specialist engineers from Fluke Brasil
In addition, the professional Wanderson Reis da Silva Rocha, from Betim, Minas Gerais, was also awarded through his candidacy as an individual in the Innovation in Sustainability category, which aimed to value actions focused on sustainability or social impact. The professional’s candidacy stood out for focusing on the generation of renewable energy, using equipment such as the IRR1-SOL® and the Fluke ammeter clamp to measure solar radiation in photovoltaic energy generating plant installations.
Thus, the winning professional in the third category will take home:

• One place in a Fluke Academy professional certification course of your choice
Ribeiro assessed that the contest met the company’s expectations, totaling 539 entries since its launch. “In addition to discovering innovations that keep the world running through Fluke equipment, the contest was also an opportunity to listen to our customers in order to further improve our products and services. We also hope to know other excellent stories such as those of the winners of this contest in future editions”, reinforces the executive.
