The price of gold in Egypt fell during last week’s trading, following hitting record levels, to plunge the price of a gram to 130 pounds.
And by the evening dealings of Friday, the price of a gram of 21 karat gold recorded regarding 2620 pounds, compared to 2750 pounds per gram at the end of last Friday’s trading.
The price of gold jumped in the local market last Thursday and reached a record level of 2,800 pounds, which sparked great controversy in the gold market amid calls for organizing and monitoring the goldsmiths market.
Gold prices today
14 karat gold prices fell to 1747 pounds per gram.
The price of 18 karat gold fell to 2246 pounds per gram.
The price of 21 carat gold decreased to 2620 pounds per gram.
The price of 24 karat gold reached 2994 pounds per gram.
The price of the gold pound
The price of the gold pound fell to 20,960 pounds, and the price may vary from one trader to another, and this price is equal to the value of gold in the pound.
