Hundreds of thousands celebrated in the streets of Naples. Shots were fired in the Piazza Volturno near the main train station. It was initially unclear whether the 26-year-old man was shot in a targeted manner or whether someone accidentally hit him. Three other people came to the hospital with gunshot wounds, according to initial findings, they were involved in the same incident. Fan from Austria died of heart attack
A fan of the Italian football champions SSC Napoli who lives in Austria died of a heart attack around 4 a.m. on Friday in the Udine train station area. Some people who saw the man collapse called an ambulance. Medical staff began resuscitation efforts, but were unsuccessful.
The man died on the street near the station entrance. On Thursday evening he attended the Serie A match Udinese Calcio-SSC Napoli and took part in the celebrations with thousands of Napoli fans.
