São Paulo, May 04, 2023 – Microsoft will be present at Bett Brasil 2023, which takes place between May 9th and 12th at the Transamerica Expo Center, in São Paulo. At its stand, the company will present solutions for teachers and education managers, with resources to support new ways of teaching, learning and managing educational institutions in a world in constant transformation. On the occasion, learning technologies for the development of socio-emotional skills will be highlighted, in addition to practical cases of application in companies that are using Microsoft tools to improve student performance inside and outside the classroom.
For Vera Cabral, Director of Skilling-Education at Microsoft Brazil, the changes brought regarding by the digitalization of the world are a unique opportunity for the education sector to reinvent itself. “Institutions are reassessing and updating teaching, learning and school management processes with the support of technology. The student of today is not the same as a few years ago. Therefore, for education to be effective, the student’s entire journey needs to change as well, with more dynamism and focus on developing the skills required for today’s world and the future”, says the executive.
To support this transformation that the educational sector is experiencing, Microsoft provides solutions that, with the incorporation of modern Artificial Intelligence resources, help to make management processes more effective, transparent and reliable. In the field of learning, the available solutions, which also make intensive use of AI, allow institutions to plan personalized journeys for each class and each student, generating individual insights or regarding groups of students, which allow the teacher to assess learning and be able to define specific strategies for different student profiles.
During Bett Brasil 2023, visitors will be able to learn regarding different Microsoft solutions with such characteristics, such as the Reading Progresso Web Search Coach and the Speaker Coach. Other tools that will be presented at the fair are:
- A Open Education Analyticsa Microsoft-led community dedicated to sharing education solutions to drive better learning outcomes through AI-powered analytics and data intelligence.
- O Microsoft 365 for Education, designed to help students reach their full potential both inside and outside the classroom. It is part of the portfolio of solutions that brings together essential tools for collaboration between students, teachers and school administrators.
- O Reading Coachwhich is now part of the Reading Progress in Teams. It gives teachers more tools to help students advance in literacy and quality education, including resources that help those with learning difficulties.
- In terms of management, in addition to the entire set of Business Applications tools, platforms with low or no code (No/Low Code) and automation, it is worth knowing the solution that covers the whole of the student’s relationship with the educational institution , from academic, financial and service activities, among others, providing a unified management experience.
- An augmented reality solution from Teams, that allows the creation of new collaboration scenarios between physical and virtual environments. The solution will be demonstrated to the public, exemplifying how it can be used to enhance teaching, generating proximity to technology from the early stages of education and promoting innovation.
- In the field of well-being and care for students’ mental health, the highlight is the Microsoft Reflectan app that encourages students to express their emotions in Teams and helps teachers and administrators keep track of each student’s behavior and socio-emotional state.
- O Minecraft Education Edition will also be featured in an interactive experience at the Microsoft booth. The game, which stimulates a more dynamic and digital learning process, has aspects of logical reasoning, computational thinking and collaboration, in addition to being known by thousands of children and young people, which facilitates the connection with the tool and generates the engagement of the students. students to learn in a more interactive way.
All Microsoft-developed solutions are designed to meet accessibility and inclusion requirements from the ground up. The Immersive Reading feature, for example, includes a set of tools that aim to include everyone in the learning process.
