It can be celebrated twice: The Hamburg Harley Days (April 19-21) are marked by two milestone birthdays. On the one hand, Harley-Davidson is 120 years old, on the other hand, the event in the Hanseatic city for the 100th anniversary of the motorcycle brand took place for the first time 20 years ago.

Around the wholesale market there will be a colorful program with catering and a large shopping area as well as an exhibition on 120 years of Harley-Davidson. There will be a custom bike show, guided tours, a big vehicle parade through the city and lots of live music.

On Friday evening, the stage first belongs to “Bonfire”, which is one of the most successful German hard rock formations of the last 40 years, before “Nazareth” appears. The next day the Irish singer and guitarist Grainne Duffy with her power blues and the French duo “Knuckle Head” will be on stage.

There is also a Ferris wheel and stunt shows. Mobility partner Ford offers an off-road course and brings along the Ranger and the Bronco in addition to the Mustang. A day ticket costs ten euros, the weekend ticket 18 euros. Admission is free on Sunday, and visitors under the age of 18 do not pay admission either. Tickets and further information are available online at hamburgharleydays.de.

The big European 120th anniversary celebration will take place in Budapest from June 22nd to 25th. The big American “Harley-Davidson Homecoming” will then take place from July 13th to 16th in Milwaukee, the home of the US cult brand. (awm)
