The air raid in Kyiv lasted more than 3.5 hours. The city’s military administration said the capital had been hit for the third time since early May. It is claimed that there has not been such an intensity of strikes since the beginning of 2023.
“Our city has not felt such a dense intensity of strikes since the beginning of this year!” — stated in the comments of the head of the city military administration Sergei Popko in the Telegram channel of the administration.
According to Kyiv, all missiles and drones were shot down. According to the city administration, no one was injured, and no serious damage was found.
Russia resumed massive shelling of Ukraine in October 2022 following blowing up the Crimean bridge. The day before, on May 3, Moscow accused Kyiv of attempting to attack the residence of Vladimir Putin in the Kremlin using drones. Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky has denied allegations of involvement in the incident.
