The Deputy Prosecutor of the Public Ministry, Luis Enrique Orozco, reported that they will request collaboration from Tamaulipas in the search for the Texan residents, who disappeared on February 25.

He announced that in the next few days they will make the formal request to the Tamaulipas Attorney General’s Office, so that their staff can enter that territory for the search that would be performed even on foot.
The three missing women are Maritza Trinidad y Mariana Perez Riosas well as Dora Alicia Cervantes Saenz.
The women disappeared on February 25 on the China-Méndez highway when they were traveling in their vehicle to a market in Montemorelos where they sold clothes.
The women are originally from Doctor Coss; however, they were residents of Peñitas, Texas and were traveling in a 1996 Chevrolet Silverado 1/2 cab pickup truck with Texas license plates.
Orozco clarified that they have to request permission from Tamaulipas to extend the search because The Law prohibits officials from one state from entering another to carry out activities.

He mentioned that in New Lion Various operations have been carried out, but no results have been obtained.
“The search has continued in Nuevo Leon territory, have become very different and numerous operationsespecially on land, using canine pairs, people on foot, also drones, zoning the surrounding areas where it was the last point where they were viewed and no results have been obtained,” he explained.
He expanded that the location of the women or the vehicle in which they were traveling has not been achieved.
