NBA MVP 2022-23 : Joel Embiid (Sixers)
After finishing second behind Nikola Jokic twice, Joel Embiid has finally won the most prestigious of individual trophies. The Sixers superstar pivot is ahead of the Joker and Giannis Antetokounmpo.

2023 Defenseman of the Year: Jaren Jackson Jr. (Grizzlies)
The Grizzlies didn’t last long in the playoffs, but Jaren Jackson Jr.’s regular season defense was monstrous. JJJ walked away with the DPOY trophy ahead of Brook Lopez and Evan Mobley.

Sixth Man of the Year: Malcolm Brogdon (Celtics)
Arrived at the last offseason on the side of Boston, Malcolm Brogdon immediately improved the collective of the Celtics off the bench. He finished with the best substitute trophy ahead of Immanuel Quickley and Bobby Portis.

Clutch Player of the Year: De’Aaron Fox (Kings)
For the first time, the NBA has decided to reward the most clutch player of the season. The winner is De’Aaron Fox, outstanding in late games throughout the year. The Fox finished ahead of Jimmy Butler and DeMar DeRozan.

Most Improved Player: Lauri Markkanen (Jazz)
After an exceptional EuroBasket last summer, Lauri Markkanen confirmed in the NBA in his new Utah team. With his 26 points and 9 rebounds on average, the Finn leaves with the MIP trophy, ahead of Shai Gilgeous-Alexander and Jalen Brunson.

Rookie of the Year: Paolo Banchero (Magic)
Excellent at the start of the season, Paolo Banchero slowed down a bit as the 2022-23 campaign progressed. But that didn’t stop him from winning the title of Rookie of the Year, despite competition from Jalen Williams and Walker Kessler.

Manager of the Year: Monte McNair (Kings)
The Kings returned to the Playoffs for the first time since 2006, and Monte McNair was a big reason for that. The GM was thus elected Manager of the Year in the NBA, ahead of Koby Altman (Cavaliers), Justin Zanik (Jazz) and Calvin Booth (Nuggets).
