preview
Both teams scored 415 runs in the first encounter of the season. Arshadeep Singh’s last over was brilliant and Jay stood up for Punjab. Rohit Sharma and his team will prepare in Mohali to make up for the defeat at home.
Mumbai’s bowling line is the villain for the hopes of victory. Mumbai is one of the highest run conceding teams of the season. In the last three matches, the opposing team has scored more than 200 runs once morest Mumbai. Mumbai’s hopes will be on the better form of the batsmen.
On the other hand, Punjab will have the confidence of defeating Chennai Super Kings in Chepauk. But it is the bowling line which is causing headache for Punjab too. Arshadeep has been consistent with 15 wickets from nine games. Punjab has not been able to find the best partner for the star.
Kagiso Rabada’s poor form is the setback. Rabada has not been able to live up to his standards this season. Liam Livingston, Shikhar Dhawan and Sam Curran are also strong in the batting line-up. But the team lacks consistent scorers.
