A 15-year-old Florida girl died this weekend at an equestrian competition when the horse she was riding fell on top of her.the authorities reported.
The information was confirmed by the US Equestrian Federation (USEF), which through a statement said that Hanna Serfass suffered a “fatal accident” on Sunday during a competition at the Fox Lea Farm Spring Concours in Venice, Florida. .
Hannah, 15, was riding Quaxx 2, a 12-year-old Holsteiner gelding, in a riding lesson when the horse tripped and suffered a rotational fall., said the USEF statement. “The fall was not related to a jumping effort.”
