Update (05/02/2023) – LR
The TicWatch Pro 5 had its first information leaked earlier this year suggesting the possibility of the model arriving equipped with the Snapdragon W5 Plus processor. The manufacturer claims that the model will be “the most powerful smartwatch in the series ever made” highlighting the performance power of Mobvoi’s next flagship wearable.
This Tuesday (2), the smart watch was listed on Amazon Canada revealing not only the design and construction, but also the alleged technical specifications of the product. According to the announcement page, the device should feature a 1.43-inch circular OLED screen with a resolution of 466 x 466 pixels and Corning Gorilla Glass protection.
Amazon also confirms the SD W5 Plus Gen 1 processor with 2 GB of RAM and 32 GB of internal storage. The battery, in turn, appears with 611 mAh with fast charging. The list of sensors for monitoring includes accelerometer, gyroscope, HD PPG, SpO2, thermometer, barometer and compass.
The listing does not bring information regarding availability and price, so it remains to wait for more rumors or official details shared by the company.
As we can see in the Tweets below, the Mobvoi TicWatch Pro 5 should be the first smart watch from the brand to have the Snapdragon W5 Plus processor with 4nm lithography, which will guarantee it greater energy efficiency with a coprocessor and Bluetooth 5.3 LE.
The use of the chip in the next release was confirmed by Mobvoi itself in July 2022:
The next generation TicWatch will include the latest version, the Snapdragon W5+ platform, offering longer battery life on a single charge, making it the most powerful smartwatch in the series to date. In addition, the Snapdragon W5+ platform’s powerful application processor and ultra-fast power co-processor will enable Mobvoi to provide a smartwatch with ultra-fast performance and connectivity.
Mobvoi actually teased it a few months back but they’ve been quiet since then. It appears they are nearing release now, as they’ve added basic support for the watch to their app as well as put the renders in a few places. pic.twitter.com/DflI4ZcSDP

TicWatch Pro 5 should still have a rotating crown and a side button with a minimalist design. Mobvoi’s initial plan was to announce this model by the end of 2022, but some unknown factor prevented this from happening, so we believe it will be presented soon considering today’s leaks.
The watch must use Wear OS 3 as the operating system, the same used in smart watches like Samsung’s Galaxy Watch 4 and 5.
