Al-Marsad Newspaper: Lawyer Fahd Al-Qusiri explained. Penalties for drug dealers in the Kingdom and confronting them strictly.

He said, during an interview with Al-Ikhbariya channel, that the Anti-Narcotics and Psychotropic Substances Law stipulates a number of crimes, and each crime has specific penalties. In cases of smuggling and bringing in drugs, the highest penalty is murder, and it is not less than 15 years in prison, and in cases of aggravation, it is not less than 15 years. The penalty is 25 years.

He added: In cases of promotion, the penalty is not less than 5 years imprisonment and not more than 15 years, and abuse is not less than 6 months and not more than two years.

He pointed out that the crime varies according to its method, for example the dissemination of drugs on social media, there is an information crime, and the exploitation and concealment of funds obtained from drug crime results in the issue of money laundering.
