Two motorcycles that had been stolen in different events, were recovered by the Río Negro Police following carrying out a prevention operation that was ordered by the First Regional Unit of Viedma.
In this sense, the provincial security force confirmed that “as a result of the control, two motorcycles stolen in different events were recovered. In addition, three other motorcycles and a car were seized for various irregularities.
They detailed that through the RN Active Security application, police personnel positioned themselves at the different “strategic points of circulation, covering the jurisdictions of the 1st, 30th, 34th, 38th Police Stations, 59th and 63rd Sub-Police Stations”.
He explained that staff Unit 38 of the Lavalle neighborhood kidnapped two motorcycles. “One of them was seized following the driver – a 26-year-old man – left it abandoned on Edmundo Rivero street in the direction of the Cadet School. It had been reported as stolen, so the Prosecutor on duty was immediately informed.
In the second case, “The other motorcycle was recovered following an intense pursuit, where the driver finally entered a house on Calle 4 and left it on the sidewalk. The troops immediately transferred the vehicle to the Unit and it was found that it was a motorcycle stolen in the Castello neighborhood.
In both cases there were no detainees and they only managed to recover the minor shots. These controls take place within the framework of a protest that will take place this Wednesday with the request for greater security in the capital of Rio Negro.
