The risks of allergy remain mostly low in the Pays de Savoie. Trees of the hornbeam, ash, plane, poplar and cypress type come to the end of flowering, and therefore disperse less of their pollen in the air. THE national aerobiological surveillance network (RNSA) however, notes an evolution of birch and grass pollen in Haute-Savoie, with a medium risk throughout the department. An evolution which should be revised downwards by the end of next week, especially if the rainy period continues.
In terms of epidemics, Haute-Savoie is spared, which is not the case for Savoie, although the situation is improving overall compared to previous weeks. It should be noted a low activity of acute respiratory infections (ARI) – of the Covid-19 type, influenza and other respiratory viruses -, and a slightly higher rate of acute diarrhea. Finally, a high rate of chickenpox cases is still concentrated in the east of the department (corresponding to 40 cases per 100,000 inhabitants), but with a notable decrease compared to the previous fortnight.
