Moon Mystery Releases Demo, Launches Kickstarter Campaign

Announced in November 2022, Moon Mystery is an FPS that takes place in space, with rather nice visual environments. The first videos also showed us weapons, used to shoot some sort of robot. Yesterday, the developers announced, via a ticket de blog Steamthe provision of a demoas well as the launch of a campaign Kickstarter. The goal is to raise €20,000 in one month. Over the first three days, almost €6,900 was raised.

We were able to test the demo, which offers half an hour of gameplay. So far the in-game render isn’t as pretty as it is in video, but that may be due to the early state of development, as not all graphics options seem to work. On the side of the game itself, we can discover that the narrative and exploration parts will undoubtedly be predominant, which is not a bad thing, because the fights are, for the moment, not very interesting: despite a feeling the gun correctly, the robots being shot at don’t seem to react to the impacts.

While traveling through the official website, we learn that for the complete game, the development team provides fifteen levels spread over seven “planets” (but do they count the Moon in it?), six different vehicles as well as more than five weapons. It will be a linear single-player game.

Moon Mystery should offer early access within the year for around twenty dollars, but in the meantime, you can you also test the demo by going to their Steam page.
