A man in his 20s was arrested for punching a woman he had never seen while walking around the city with his pants off.
Gangwon Chuncheon Police Station is investigating a 22-year-old A on charges of hitting a woman who passed by in a drunken state in front of a university in Chuncheon, Gangwon, around 1 am on the 27th.
Mr. A was caught at the scene of the crime following a report from a citizen who witnessed the assault, and was in a state of taking off his pants at the time of arrest.
During the police investigation, he was reported to have stated that he was “drunken and can’t remember”.
A drug test was also conducted for Mr. A, but no drug reaction came out.
The police are investigating the exact circumstances of the incident once morest witnesses and others, while considering whether to add injury charges to Mr. A in addition to assault charges.
