There are interesting, albeit unofficial, reports regarding AMD’s new mid-range chip. According to the “Moore’s Law is Dead” tech channel, performance is expected to be between the RX 6650 XT and RX 6750 XT.
The MLID channel allegedly contacted a person from an AMD partner company who was testing an engineering sample of the RX 7600 XT. The card is allegedly 11% faster than the RX 6650 XT when tested at 1080p. Power consumption in this case is regarding 175 watts.
The above comparison shows the place of the RX 6750 XT chip in the performance hierarchy. According to the MLID channel, the RX 7600 XT should reach 121 FPS in this test, which puts it next to the GeForce RTX 3060 Ti, which is said to be only a few percent weaker than the RTX 4060 (according to unofficial information regarding the performance of this yet to be released card Nvidia). Therefore, it may not necessarily be able to resist the Nvidia chip, but perhaps the price will determine its popularity.
TechSpot lists a suggested price of $300 to $350.
