The CENI submitted its annual report to the National Assembly on Thursday, April 27, 2023.
On this occasion, President Denis Kadima welcomed the quality of the work done in such a short time and reiterated his determination to offer good elections in December 2023.

«We are in the final stretch towards the elections. We’ve reached the point of no return “said Denis Kadima.

According to Kadima, this report submitted to the national representation includes all the activities organized by the CENI during the period from April 2022 to March 2023.

« We have submitted to a legal obligation by coming to file the annual report of the activities of the CENI which covers the period from April 2022 to March 2023. A provision of the law is part of the duty of accountability. In short, that’s all we’ve been able to achieve in the last 12 months. It is a year full of activities, there are aspects relating to the mapping of registration centres. The bulk of the work revolves around the identification and registration of voters: an exercise that has just recently ended. There are also questions of internal organization, our vision, the missions assigned to us, the objectives, and of course the results obtained during this exercise.“said Denis Kadima.

And to add: Without going into too much detail, I must admit that the results, at this point, are satisfactory, even impressive for a team that was set up very late. Nevertheless, we have to recognize that we have been able to do a significant job. Today, we can rejoice in particular with regard to the registration of voters which was accomplished in record time. This means that in the future we know that it can be done with a little more efficiency in such a short time.« .
