In the case of the shooting of his brother Christopher on leaving a nightclub on July 13, 2020 in Toulouse, Serge Aurier (30), Ivorian international and former defender of PSG (between 2014 and 2017) today in Nottingham Forest (Premier League), is a civil party. The alleged murderer had always claimed not to have intentionally killed Serge’s younger brother. But the latter’s lawyer, Maitre Romain Vanni, had requested a reconstitution from the investigating judge in charge of the case in order to clarify this point.

In the conclusions of the order of indictment, that The Team was able to consult, the magistrate wrote: “Concerning the mental element of the alleged offence, if the homicidal intent is disputed by the indicted, and consistently throughout the proceedings, it is perfectly established that KK fired at least twice on Christopher Aurier at a very short distance in a lethal zone leaving little chance of survival for the latter despite the caliber used. The conclusions of the forensic, ballistics, and gunshot residue expertise clearly plead in favor of a homicidal intent, reinforcing the likelihood of the hypothesis that following shooting Christopher Aurier for the first time at point-blank range, KK reiterated his gesture when the victim was already turning to leave the scene. »

The alleged killer was returned to the Assize Court of Haute-Garonne. The date of the trial, for homicide, carrying and possession of weapons, remains to be determined. This driving school instructor, 30 years old today, faces life imprisonment.
