The new purchase of the mansion, which cost EUR 7,000, was purchased from project funds. True, this is the second option – in the absence of the first, the carriage was returned to the supplier. “A few years ago, we signed a contract with a manufacturer from Lithuania, but his work, unfortunately, did not live up to expectations – we had to return the carriage to the supplier and start looking around Europe. We found suppliers from Estonia, where they made a stylized entertainment carriage for us with protection from the sun and rain,” said the manager of the Islands Manor.
Although the carriage is stylized, reeking of courtliness, as if from a movie, according to B. Dapkienė, it will be used for its intended purpose: “This two-seater six-seater carriage will decorate the surroundings of the manor, it will be functional: we will transport special guests, tourists will be able to order chartered rides, enjoy them for various occasions and for the holidays.” Horses raised on B. Dapkiene’s farm are planned to be harnessed to the carriage.
