Hani Shaker sends a message of thanks to Bahrain

The Egyptian artist, Hani Shaker, sent a letter of thanks to the Minister of Tourism, Fatima Al-Serafi, the Bahrain Tourism Authority, and the Egyptian ambassador to the State of Bahrain, for standing by him and recovering his right and taking all necessary measures following his concert contractor fled without paying the artist and his band.

Shaker posted a picture of him on his official account on “Instagram” before leaving Bahrain, and commented: “Before leaving the beloved land of the Kingdom of Bahrain, I can only thank the Bahraini people for their warm welcome and the love shown in their eyes, from our arrival until our departure.”

He added: “I would also like to thank Her Excellency the Minister of Tourism, Mrs. Fatima Al-Serafi, for her interest in giving the necessary directions to the responsible authorities, and I especially thank the Bahrain Tourism and Exhibitions Authority for its quick move and taking all measures and guarantees that guarantee my right from the contractor in whose right he is accused, who did not abide by the terms of the contract.”

He explained that the contractor complained regarding is not a Bahraini citizen, adding: “I would like to make it clear that he is not a Bahraini citizen, and represents only himself, and I do not fail to thank His Excellency the Egyptian Ambassador to Bahrain, Yasser Shaaban, for his interest and support for me in these circumstances.”

Shaker concluded his message, saying: “I was also honored to have him and members of the Bahrain Tourism and Exhibitions Authority visit me at the hotel before I left for the airport, expressing their love and appreciation for me and Egyptian art and their wishes for an artistic meeting soon in Bahrain.”
