Al-Marsad Newspaper: Doctor Talal Martinos, a cardiologist, revealed the details of the health status of the Syrian artist, Muhammad Qanoua, before his departure, and the number of cigarettes he smoked daily.

His health deteriorated

He said in an interview on “Arabesque FM” that two days before his death, Kanoua had installed 3 grids in the heart, and he was discharged from the hospital normally, but he returned to the hospital on Saturday following he complained of severe chest pain.

He explained that it was found that there was an acute myocardial infarction, and when an emergency catheter was performed, it was discovered that there was a blockage in the three networks, and the arteries that were closed were opened, pointing out that the first aid measures did not succeed, due to the late arrival of Muhammad Qanoua in a state of heart shock and his pressure was 6 and his pulse was rapid.

Heavy smoker

He pointed out that the artist, Muhammad Qanoua, was a heavy smoker, as he smoked 5 cans a day, and did not reduce smoking following the catheterization procedure, adding that the Qanoua family also has a history of diabetes and heart disease.

It is noteworthy that the Syrian artist, Muhammad Qanoua, died on the second day of Eid al-Fitr, at the age of 49, following a myocardial infarction.
