Sony Interactive Entertainment Korea (SIEK) announced that it will release two FINAL FANTASY XVI bundles for PlayStation 5 (PS5) on June 22, 2023. There are two bundles to be released this time: the PS5 Digital Edition bundle and the PS5 Ultra HD Blu-ray Disc Drive bundle.
The recommended retail price of the PS5 digital edition bundle was 630,800 won, and the PS5 Ultra HD Blu-ray disc drive bundle was released at 760,800 won. Each bundle includes a PlayStation 5 console (digital or disc version), a DualSense wireless controller, and a FINAL FANTASY XVI software voucher.
The two bundles will be available for purchase starting June 22 through official offline and online retailers, including PlayStation stores, official partner shops, and online malls.
FINAL FANTASY XVI is the latest and completely new work in the FINAL FANTASY series, and depicts the story of Clive Rosefield, the protagonist, who aims to destroy the Mother Crystal in the background of the end of the world.
The game items included in the bundle include the weapon ‘Brave Heart’, the accessory ‘Cathie’s Lucky Charm’, and the accessory ‘Scholar’s Glasses’. These digital bonus items will be available for purchase separately at a later date.
