The mayor of Medellín, Daniel Quintero, once once more broke the historical records of citizen disapproval this month and reaffirmed himself as the most unpopular mayor of Medellín since 1994, according to the latest Invamer poll.

In the new measurement, whose data was collected between April 14 and 24, the mayor had an approval rating of only 36%, which becomes the lowest calculated by that survey since February 1994.

This last data is equivalent to six points less than the approval reached by Quintero himself in February of this year, when he had already reached the lowest level of the last 29 years (42%), then only comparable with that of Sergio Naranjo (who had 47% approval in March 1995), Juan Gómez Martínez (who registered 48% in October 2000) and Alonso Salazar (also with a minimum of 48%, in February 2009).

In the same direction, now facing the disapproval indicator, the mayor reached its highest level, with 57% of respondents who disapproved of his management. This figure is equivalent to 6 points more than his last measurement published in February of this year, when he reached a disapproval rate of 51%.
