Seismicity continues in the Nevado del Ruiz
The seismicity associated with the fracturing of rock in Nevado del Ruiz decreased in terms of the phenomena registered on Monday, April 24. However, according to the Colombian Geological Service, the volcano’s activity continues to be unstable and “it is possible that the levels of seismic activity, as well as the levels of degassing or ash output, may decrease or be oscillating, in the sense of increasing for a few days and decreasing others”.
