In men’s doubles, Fajar Alfian/Muhammad Rian Ardianto, who are also top seeds, beat He Ji Ting/Zhou Hao Dong (China) 21-16, 21-18. Third seed Mohammad Ahsan/Hendra Setiawan overcame Dev Ayyappan/Dhiren Ayyappan (United Arab Emirates) 21-14, 21-17.
