Berlin – Internal documents of the “last generation” show: There is also a shortage of skilled workers in climate adhesives! BILD took a look around the blockers’ job exchange.
There are currently 35 different positions advertised. Fixed-term, part-time, full-time or just a few hours a week – everything is included.
Call center
The climate chaos operate a so-called call center. There, the first contact with interested parties is made on the phone. “Hang in for a few hours and sort of organize your own road blockade, easily from home,” the blockers write in an internal chat. The position is advertised for seven to 21 hours a week – home office possible.
IT expert
An IT expert is being sought who will, among other things, take care of data protection – at least 14 hours a week. The tender states: “Great trust is required, therefore an indicator of a pure heart must be demonstrated, such as left-green social media posts, written books, pasted on streets.”
Trainer
A specialist is also needed for their adhesive training units, talk rounds and for mobilization. She should be willing to “travel for something”. “We would particularly like to encourage you to apply to us if you define yourself as a FLINTA!” write the climate stickers.
Editor’s Note: FLINTA means female, lesbian, intersex, non-binary, trans, and agender.
Knast-Coordinator
“People are being held in longer detention more and more often or even jail,” write the climate stickers. That’s why the “Last Generation” now wants to start a prison working group and is looking for full-time staff! Among other things, the jail coordinator should build a network with pastors and psychologists within the prisons.
“We have the ability to pay people for charitable work,” write the Kleber. But not every activist gets paid.
It remains unclear how and from what the climate adhesives reward their employees.
