Elections 2023: José Luis Espert formally asked to join Together for Change

The national deputy José Luis Espert proposed to the leaders of Juntos por el Cambio at the national level to join the coalition to “expand the opposition space.”

He did so through a letter, made public by Maximiliano Ferraro, president of the ARI Civic Coalition, who supported Espert’s intention.

“As President of the ARI Civic Coalition, I received a letter from José Luis Espert, from the Avanza Libertad space, in which he expressed his concern regarding the economic crisis of an aimless government. In it, he proposes to expand the opposition space, joining Together for Change to join efforts and carry out state policies that allow us to overcome decadence and promote the progress and sustained development of the country, ”Ferraro posted on Twitter.

“For the Civic Coalition, Together for Change must always be a broad space that includes all those who defend democracy, freedom, humanism and republican values. That is why I support the proposal of Avanza Libertad to join our space. The country needs each one of us to get ahead,” added Ferraro.

Espert’s letter was released hours later, Miguel Ángel Pichetto, National Auditor General, presidential candidate and member of the Together for Change table, said that they were analyzing Espert’s entry into the alliance.

“Yesterday we had a meeting and I have a totally positive look. It seems to me that the president of the Radical Civic Union and the president of the Civic Coalition also agree. It seems to me that it is interesting to add Espert to his party, which also incorporates a current of liberal thought and consolidates the opposition front. We had arranged for him to join the debate to which we have also summoned economists to have an accurate diagnosis of the economic process that Argentina is experiencing”, Pichetto assured.
