As fifteen of our trophies will be awarded by the end of July, the UEFA General Secretary is a timely reminder of the wider impact of these competitions, at all levels of the football pyramid. “UEFA’s most prestigious finals help fund a large number of competitions, which cover different age groups and formats,” he explains.

And the Secretary General concluded: “By raising standards, inspiring players, thrilling fans or generating revenue to reinvest in the game, UEFA’s competitions are the driving force behind our mission to the development of European football. »
