Burnley secured the title in the Championship, the English second division, on Tuesday evening. A coronation obtained thanks to the performance of a nucleus which did not let go of anything as well as the flair of a trainer, Vincent Kompany.
With a modest experience as a coach (everything had started at Sporting Anderlecht, we remember) and a core that had to be completely rebuilt at the start of the season, Vince the Prince never ceased to amaze everyone.
Kompany, it is a total of 52 matches at the head of the Clarets : 32 wins, 15 shares and 5 defeats (i.e. 2.14 points per game). The balance sheet is even more impressive if we limit ourselves to league matches: in 44 matches, there are 27 wins, 14 draws and 3 defeats (i.e. 2.16 units per match).
