TORONTO (AP) — Puerto Rican José Berríos struck out a season-high nine in seven innings. Danny Jansen homered twice and the Toronto Blue Jays shut out the White Sox 7-0 on Tuesday to extend Chicago’s losing streak to six games.

Berríos (2-3) allowed four hits — all singles — and walked one in his second straight seven-inning outing. He struck out the side in the first and didn’t allow any runners to get into scoring position until Elvis Andrus moved from first to third on Andrew Benintendi’s two-out single in the sixth. Eloy Jiménez struck out without throwing.

Nate Pearson and Anthony Bass relieved no-hitters as the Blue Jays won for the 14th time in 20 games.

Chicago lost for the 11th time in 13 games and 14 of 17. The White Sox lost by shutout for the second time this season and have just three runs and 10 hits in their last three games.

Right-hander Mike Clevinger (2-2) allowed a season-high six runs and seven hits in five innings.

For the White Sox, the Dominican Eloy Jimenez 4-0. The Cuban Yasmani Grandal 3-0. The Venezuelan Elvis Andrus from 2-1.

For the Blue Jays, the Dominican Vladimir Guerrero Jr. 4-1.
