NAGUA, Dominican Republic.- The PLD reported that more than a hundred former members of the PRM here were sworn in in the presidential project of Abel Martínez
The group is headed by business leader Francis Jerez, who expressed that following belonging to the PRM since it was founded, he feels disappointed because, in his opinion, the Government’s actions are far from the social essence that motivated his support for this organization.
“We have seen how In these three years of the PRM government, there are only unfulfilled promises in every way; they have failed the people and the same leaders and militants who brought them to power And that is why I take a step forward together with my family, which is part of the heart of Nagua and with my entire political structure, to lead Abel Martínez to the presidency in 2024, also assuming the commitment to run for mayor of my beloved people,” he said.
Jerez and the other sworn inThey promised to work to make possible the triumph of Martínez and the PLD in the electoral processes of 2024.
The swearing-in was headed by the member of the PLD Political Committee, Francisco Javier García, in his role as national campaign director for Martínez.
At the swearing-in ceremony, held at the Nani Restaurant, were the members of the Central Committee, Francisco Peña, province coordinator María Trinidad Sánchez; José Anibal Balbuena, provincial coordinator of Strategy; Juan José Paredes “Cheo”, mayor of the El Factor municipality and provincial operational coordinator; Evelia Pérez, provincial coordinator for Women; Julio César de la Cruz, mayor of the Las Gordas municipal district and Osvaldo Vargas, provincial liaison for the Abel 24 campaign, among other leaders and members of the PLD.
